Happiness

The Happiness Project was a book about a woman Gretchen Rubin who tried to do the things that make you happy for a year to see how she felt. Some of the tips included:

1. Get more Energy-
Get enough sleep, Excersise daily, Organize your things and your life, tackle nagging tasks, act more energetic
2. Remember Love-
Don't nah, don't expect praise, and fight fairly
3. Work
Work smarter not harder, ask for help
4. Parent hood
Lighten up, acknowledge your feelings, make happy memories together, do projects together, sing in the morning (don't scream)
5. Play
Have more fun, be silly , decide what you like
6. Make time for friends
Remember birthdays, be generous, show up, don't gossip
7. Money
Modest splurges, buy needful things, cut something out
8. Be grateful and spiritual
9. Persue a passion
10 Pay attention-
Food diary, mindfulness
11. Contented heart
laughter, good manners, reviews and areas of refuge

Keep a journal of your energy drains. Is there a conversation that you should be having, are you trying to make a goal that doesn't make sense, are you holding on to something?
